Magnification
: This is the
magnification of the complete system and depends only on the focal
lengths of the objective and eyepiece. For the same objective, the
magnification will increase with decrease in focal length of eyepiece.
For the same eyepiece, magnification increases as objectives of larger
focal lengths are used. |

Exit
pupil : This is the diameter of the rays that come out
of the eyepiece. It depends on the diameter of the objective and the
